TabTrade Overview - What to Know Before You Sign Up

Tab Trade — What It Is

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

That last detail matters. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For something this new, that range is solid.

What You Trade On

You get: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after using both.

FIX API is available for algo traders but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That will make the platform set when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

This is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals something about priorities.

Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

This is the detail that matters. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. But be part of how you think about it.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You deposit, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you deposit.
